EullThe Niles Charter Township Clerk is elected every four years at the time of the Presidential Election and serves as a voting member of the Township Board.

The Clerk maintains township records, books, and papers in accordance with record retention and disposal guidelines. Prepares notices for public meetings. Prepares minutes of each township board meeting, the Clerk is responsible for the township accounting.  The Clerk oversees elections process: maintaining the voter registration files of the township which includes, registering new voters, making address/name changes to current voters, cancelling moved or deceased voters, issuing voter ID cards to all voters, maintaining Voter Master Cards with signatures of all registered voters, and updating voter history.  The Clerk, also, administers all elections in Niles Charter Township as well as handles all Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests.
