Niles Charter Township is 42-square miles located in Berrien County in the southwest corner of Michigan. Running through the heart of the township is the broad, shining St. Joseph River.

Niles is easily accessible to five major highways and is situated 95-miles from Chicago and 189-miles from Detroit. South of Niles is South Bend, Indiana and the home of the University of Notre Dame, and only 20 miles west is the beautiful shoreline of Lake Michigan.

Must be paid at Berrien County Treasurer's Office.

DOG LICENSES

Are now available at the Township through February 29, 2012. Please bring the form that was mailed to you along with proof of rabies vaccination if required.

The Board of Trustees is elected every four years at the time of the Presidential Election. The Board consists of the Supervisor, Clerk, Treasurer and four Trustees.
